They were both students at the New England Conservatory of Music.
Vilray began a career of busking and studying Tin Pan Alley music from the 30’s, and Rachael became the lead singer of Lake Street Dive.
Rachael and Vilray have released their 3rd album – West of Broadway.
I really wanted to know how this passion for music from the 30’s came to each of them.
They start the next leg of their very successful tour at the Hollywood Theatre in Kitsilano, Vancouver. October 20
