In Fall 2025, both Matt Andersen and Mariel Buckley released albums and were guests on The Stew. There was lots of chatter about “a tour”, but
No specifics from either.
Then,
January brought an announcement that Mariel would open for Matt all across Canada, and here we are.
At the same time, the Juno nominations were announced. Both were nominated for the same award, Contemporary Roots Album of the Year.
Makes for an interesting tour!
