There’s no easy way to tell the Moon Curser story.

You have to consider the amazing efforts of the original owners Chris and Beata Tolley.

They had planned and shaped a wonderful series of vineyards, with varietals that seemed to go on and on.

When they sold the much awarded winery (2019 Best Small Winery in Canada), the winemaking and viticulture became the responsibility of today’s guest, winemaker Christian Scagnetti. His first vintage in Osoyoos was 2018.

After almost 9 years leading the winery team, it’s truly become his vision and craft.

He maintains the quality and uniqueness of the portfolio.

The real magic I’d like to salute is the balance he’s maintained. Dealing every day and every growing season with the hard challenge of maintaining the winery’s success but still moving forward with his version of Moon Curser. New concepts, new techniques.

He is dedicated to sustainable practices and working with the vineyard team to ensure that each wine reflects the terroir on the Okanagan Valley.
