Mulligan Stew July 19th 2025-The Summer Stew . Two hours of Hand Picked Beauties.

For those of you who may not know, CKUA is listener supported. Proudly so, for almost 100 years.

Those who choose to donate an hour are usually long time donors in the CKUA worldwide community.

We have two more friends coming by to support our two hours.

Leadership donors Brian Mills and Susan Tyrrell wanted to give their donated hour to a volunteer.  At the Spring fundraiser, during a live event, they drew the name of Lorene Cowburn. Lorene had been our donor for a recent show and has been working on the preparations for KDays and Summer Festival Season.

Lorene doesn’t just volunteer at festivals,  she attends as a music fan.

Saskatoon for the July 6^th Jazz Festival, then Bear Creek and Edmonton Folk Fest.

We’re playing tunes for Lorene, Brian and Susan. Also Brian Wilson for Lorene’s Brad!

The second donor is an old friend Daniel Topolinsky.

Daniel takes CKUA with him wherever he goes. Via the CKUA App.

This time he’s in Rhodes, Greece.

We thank him and plan to play his only request. “something from Tom Waits”
